What we built.
Isms is a developer-first SMS platform that makes it fast to send reliable text messages at scale. With simple, powerful APIs, developers can drop in a few lines of code and start sending verification codes, alerts, and transactional messages straight from their stack — with high-deliverability delivery across The Gambia’s mobile networks.

Where it started
- Developers need a fast, reliable way to send SMS without building telecom integrations from scratch
- Reaching every mobile network in The Gambia with high deliverability is difficult through a single provider
- Testing messaging flows usually means paying for real sends and risking unexpected costs
- Keeping application state in sync with real-world SMS delivery status is hard
- Managing and personalizing contacts across messaging campaigns is cumbersome
The solution
How we delivered
- Built a simple, powerful SMS API so developers can start sending in just a few lines of code
- Integrated the major Gambian mobile networks for high-deliverability, country-wide delivery
- Added a test mode to simulate sending and experiment with the API without charges
- Provided webhooks that push real-time delivery-status notifications to keep systems synchronized
- Included contact management to import, organize, and personalize recipients in one place
