What we built.
Yiroo is a mobile app that helps customers in The Gambia request reliable local deliveries from pickup to drop-off. Users add their pickup and drop-off locations, describe what needs to be delivered, and submit a request to a rider. From the app they can track delivery status, manage their profile, upload verification documents, and review wallet activity. Yiroo is built for everyday local delivery needs — from packages to documents and small personal items.

Where it started
- Residents lack a simple, reliable way to request local pickup-and-drop-off deliveries on demand
- Coordinating riders for packages, documents, and small personal items is informal and hard to track
- Customers have no easy way to follow a delivery’s progress or keep a record of completed deliveries
- Handling payments and balances for deliveries needs a trusted in-app wallet
- Identity verification is needed to build trust between customers and riders
- Users expect control over their own data, including the ability to delete their account
The solution
How we delivered
- Built an on-demand request flow: add pickup and drop-off locations, describe the item, and submit to a rider
- Added live delivery status tracking and a history of completed deliveries to review
- Implemented an in-app wallet showing balance and full transaction history
- Created profile management to save and update contact details
- Added identity document upload for verification when required
- Included self-service account deletion directly from the profile screen
